With the Wireless Charging Case charging is as simple as placing your AirPods in the case and laying it on a Qi-compatible charging mat. I can still stick them in the case to charge while Im away. Its a pain to put on and take off the covers. Only thing you cant do is mix an AirPods 1 with an AirPods 2.
